Source said, Amin who was a fisherman by his profession went to fishing in the nearby river of Sidirkul who did not come back home that day.

The next day, his relatives including villagers got out of the village in search of him. After searching for a while, the body of Amin was found at the river side lying on the bank.

Later, the body was brought home and buried at the village cemetery after his Namaj e Zanazah.

Villagers claimed that Amin was killed by Rakhine extremists since there were signs of stab and strikes on some parts of his body.

A Rohingya resident from the village said to Arakan Times, not only the government but the racist Rakhines are also committing inhumane crimes including killings against Rohingya in Arakan.

It is a common thing for Rakhine people to kill the innocent Rohingya villagers, said another Rohingya who declined to be named.
