Shacks gutted at IDP camp in Pauktaw

A devastating fire broke out at KeniPran Rohingya IDP camp in Pauktaw Towship burning down several rooms of shacks today, December 7, 2017 at around 10: 00 am.

The fire originated from a room of the shacks and soon engulfed to other attached rooms and adjacent shacks which burnt to ashes.

But the residents extinguished the blaze with their frantic effort after four shacks consisting six rooms in each were burnt down, according to correspondent report.

The fire started from a room of Rohingya due to carelessness where burned down four shacks.

The fire was burning for half an hour. No house hold things could be saved from the fire, said the source.
