Myanmar Border Guard Police and Rakhine extremists have been jointly looting the valuables away, such as motorcycles, gold ornament and cash money from Rohingya residents in various village tracts of Buthidaung.
Similarly, dozens of motorbikes have been snatched away from Rohingyas in some areas of Buthidaung today, 14 November whichever they found.
The Rakihne extremists snatch the bikes away in vehicles and sell them in Buthidaung market. Most of them are taken to Sittwe to sell there, said the source to our correspondent.
A Rohingya said, the government forces in collaboration of Rakhine extremists are plundering our motorbikes and selling them in the market as if they are license holding bike traders. How can we live if we are harassed and oppressed in different forms by Myanmar government armed forces and the radical Rakhine?
Every day, the radical Rakhines enter our village in cooperation of government forces and loot away the valuables such as gold ornament from women, cash money from village shops and motorbikes.
These sorts of systematic persecutions are intentional so that the Rohingyas may flee their homes to Bangladesh gradually, said a resident from Buthidaung to Arakan Times on condition of anonymity.
