Figures of Rohingya bodies in boat accident risen up

Nine more Rohingya dead bodies were recovered on Tuesday who had gone missing as boat sank into the water of Naf-river three days ago.

The corpses were recovered from the beach areas of Nayapara and Habisara of Teknaf on 10 October.

The numbers of Rohingya dead bodies in boat sunk incidents on Sunday have risen up to 23 persons till now.

Officer in Charge (OC), Main Uddin Khan of teknaf police station said, on Monday 14 corpses were initially recovered while on Tuesday dead bodies of 1 child and 8 women were recovered also who died in the boat accident.

According to report, at least 25 Rohingya carrying boats sank into the Naf-river and the Bay of Bengal where 151 bodies were recovered from 25 August to 10 October 2017.

Another report says that the figures might be more than three hundreds since 25 August.
