At least 12 Rohingyas have died and 21 have gone missing since an engine boat sank into the water of Naf-river while crossing into Bangladesh on 9 October 2017 at 12: 00 am.
According to our correspondent report, the boat was loaded with 43 Rohingyas, mostly women and children which capsized due to big waves in the river while it was carrying them to Bangladesh.
The incident was taken place while the Rohingyas were entering Bangladesh territory through Gularsar point of Shaforidip island from Myanmar.
According to source, police rescued 12 Rohingyas and 21 others have gone missing since then.
Among the dead bodies, 9 were children, 1 men and 1 woman.
