Cox’s Bazar Deputy Commissioner (DC) organized a coordination meeting at the DC’s conference room in Cox’s Bazar where a decision was taken that nobody is allowed to enter the Rohingya refugee camp without any Identity Card.
According to report, the coordination meeting was held at the DC’s conference room on 4 October where the decision was taken that every member of NGO and INGO must leave the camp before evening.
Construction of any Madrasa, (Arabic school) and Mosque including any other institutional structure is not allowed without the permission of concerned BD army who are engaged in service of refugees.
This directive was given in the coordination meeting held on Wednesday (4 October) at the DC’s conference room in Cox’s Bazar.
The meeting was chaired by Cox’s Bazar Deputy Commissioner (DC) Mohammed Ali Hussain.
Awami League General Secretary, Bridge Minister Obaidul Kader also joined the meeting.
Later, the directive notice was read out in the meeting by Deputy Commissioner in presence of Bridge Minister.
It was written in the notice that every member of NGO, INGO and International Donor Organizations must leave the camp before sun set after completion of work. The permission will be necessary from army for any construction of Madrasa, mosque and any other institutional structures in the camp.
During the meeting, District Administration, army, BGB, Police and representatives of NGO and INGOs were present.
