AT Staff Report
An evil designed strategy of ethnic cleansing and elimination has been taken by the ultra nationalist Arakan Nationalist Party (ANP) MPs in a meeting held with Myanmar Military Chief of Staff Gen Min Aung Line at Nipyadaw on 10 August 2017.
It is learnt that their secret agenda in the meeting was to eliminate all Muslims from the soil of Arakan through killing and forcing the Rohingya to flee from the State. They are not considering any reconciliation and international mediation but only proceeding toward catastrophic danger against Muslims.
In the meeting, the MPs put the security matters of Rakhine people in Muslim predominated northern Arakan, Maungdaw, Buthidaung and Yathedaung area that the Rakhine are not in secure. Taking the advantage from the unstable situation they are branding the whole Muslims as terrorist and a security threat for the state of the country.
Through convincing the Chief of army Gen Min Aung Line by putting false and fabricated allegation that the Rakhine are not in safe and assailant attack may occur in the area of Maungdaw, Buthidaung and Yethedaung, the Rakhine MPs and leaders could make him pass a decision of army deployment in North-West of Arakan to carry out raid against Rohingya Muslims which is the only intention of Rakhine.
Reliable source said, at least 500 militaries have landed at the Sittwe air port from Yangon on 10 August who are coming toward Maungdaw, Buthidaung and Yethedaung where the Rohingya fear that intense crackdown like that of 9 October might be conducted by army against the Rohingya Muslims.
The Rohingya Muslims in Maungdaw, Buthidaung and Yethedaung are passing time in terror following the sudden evil intentional deployment of military and resumption of two month more curfew in the three Townships.
It is a terrible plan of Rakhine people to bring army in Arakan to conduct crackdown against the Rohingya Muslims like that of 9 October 2016 where thousands of houses torched, hundreds of women raped, hundreds of people killed and more hundred of innocent civilians were jailed.
