6 Rohingya detained in Btd


At least six Rohingya were arbitrarily arrested by Myanmar army on 27 April, 2017 in Sikderpara of Buthidaung north.

Source said to our correspondent, a group of army entered the Sikderpara village of Buthidaung north and arrested six innocent Rohingya.

They were taken to army camp and confined at the custody where they were severely beaten up by army, source added.

The victims were identified as Mr. Taher and Mv Ayas including four others of the village.

Further information of the victims is not available to Arakan Times.

Despite declaration of ending “Clearance Operation” in Maungdaw and Buthidaung, Myanmar army has continued its aggression against Rohingya people, said Karim.
