Myanmar Border Guard Police are still active in carrying out atrocities against innocent Rohingya people in villages under Maungdaw.
According to our correspondent report, on 15 March 2017 a group of Border Guard Police (BGP) from Zimmonkhali Tenzin Border Outpost (BOP) indulged in wine entered Quarbil village tract and started to fire gun shoots indiscriminately.
Fortunately, no one was injured by their firing gun shoot, source said.
While walking through the village, they found a Rohingya man who was mercilessly assaulted by them.
The victim was identified Kala Boda son of Nazir Hussain of Quarbil village.
They intrude into Quarbil village indulged in wine which doesn’t belong to them or isn’t under their authorization and conduct various atrocities on the Rohingya. It is completely illegal that they come from other area and do whatever they wish in other village.
These BGP members are encouraged and misguided by the current Quarbil village administrator and his brothers to harass the innocent Rohingya in different forms in the village in regular basis.
The village administrator brings the BGP forces into the village every day to threaten and keep the people in panic situation so that the people bow him and he can do whatever he wish in the village, says a Rohingya elder.
