At least two cattle heads of Rohingya resident of Zammonia village tract of Maungdaw north have been looted by military.
Source said to our correspondent, the two cattle belonging to Mohammed Tayob (37) son of Md Alam of Zammonia have been robbed by army, one slaughtered and the rest one still alive kept for another meal.
Sorts of persecutions on Rohingya including looting properties are still continued in Arakan amid and although arising censures worldwide against violence and human rights violation by Myanmar army.
It is learnt that 85 % of Rohingya’s cattle were looted by Rakhine extremists and government forces during the crackdown carried out by them against Rohingya in the last three months of 2016.
Only 15 % cattle remained which are now being looted again by army members in Zammonia village of Maungdaw north where huge losses of lives of people and properties were caused after 9 October 2016 attack on BGP.
